My career began in 2009 as a Labourer and Junior Site Engineer at Fulton Hogan while pursuing my studies. Discovering my passion for structural engineering, I joined Opus International Consultants Limited (now WSP) after completing my diploma. Over my 8.5-year tenure there, I advanced from Technician to Structural Engineer, eventually leading the Taupo Office Property and Buildings Team, working on diverse structural projects primarily in the Taupo District.

I hold a New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Civil) from Unitec Institute of Technology, earned in 2011, and a Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil) from Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec), completed in 2018. As of February 2024, I am both a Registered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and a Chartered Member of Engineering New Zealand (CMEngNZ).

Currently, I am employed as a Civil Engineer by Mercury NZ Limited. However, my dedication to structural engineering inspired me to establish TAWA Engineering, allowing me to continue my passion and practice in this field.
